An Civil Estimator is required by a nationally based engineering organization in Melbourne. This company is highly regarded and respected as a quality enterprise specialising in major national infrastructure projects.

Currently this organization is seeking an Civil Estimator who ideally has experience within a railway environment. They will however consider candidates who wish to expand their knowledge into this area. In order to be their Estimator you will need the following skills and experience;

• Knowledge of Rail Safety Management, OH&S and asset management principles, and an ability to implement the principles.
• High level project management skills with the ability to manage complex rail interfaces on large multi-disciplinary rail projects.
• High level interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships, obtain cooperation and develop collaborative working relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and mandated processes
